A year later after wedding parents of the husband have bought to us apartment. For me it was a surprise, I did not participate in a habitation choice. Apartment in galereinom the house with small rooms, but we were simply happy to such gift and at once have begun to equip our new house.
Long puzzled how to place on kitchen the area 6 sq. m. a refrigerator. On kitchen in a corner there was a gas, nearby a bowl, to a window we have put a case, opposite - a table. A refrigerator have put in a corridor. The shock concerning the sizes of kitchen gradually passed, and we have decided to make repair, and then already to be engaged in arrangement.
All our kitchen was in a terrible dairy-bluish tile which was spread obviously by the master self-educated person. On walls the tile floated at random. The top part of walls and a ceiling have been painted by a white paint.
Paint with a tile it has been decided to remove. Walls have smoothed out to bricks, zashtukaturili and have puttied.
Have disassembled sewer mine. The crane at a bowl was simply awful, the Soviet type, at all the crane, and the amalgamator from a shower. We have altered all pipes and have put normal human kranik. On a wall at a bowl have laid out a light brown rectangular tile, but not on all wall. Mine have decided to issue on each side a tile to a ceiling. Then have closed its sheet of plywood. Now to us in a city have delivered a new ceiling tile under a tree, our acquaintances have pasted it on the same mine, as well as at us. It is looked not bad enough, I here think, that we too could so make.
Wall-paper chose long. It would be desirable something light, bright, unusual, and everywhere sold standard kitchen wall-paper under a tile and with small squares. I did not want light, pastel shades, and is especially strict geometrical drawing. There was wall-paper without small squares, but they had a room kind. It is said that on kitchen there should be the rich colours lifting appetite, creating warm atmosphere. At last have found that has attracted at first sight. Vinyl, washing wall-paper of pleasant yellow and peach colours with addition of the gentle blue. Unostentatiously on drawing is pale-brown flowers are scattered.
From a floor have removed an old paint and have laid linoleum, have made new a plinth.
Long argued for a ceiling. There was an opinion that whitewashing that the kitchen breathed is better. But the ceiling tile is looked much more aesthetically, and to potter with it less. Have decided to buy an extract that our new ceiling has not turned black and it was not smoked. On a ceiling have laid out a white tile. Wanted colour, but there was no delivery.
Eaves for curtains have chosen ceiling, I liked such variant. Light a tulle in the form of an arch has just approached to our window. Unlike traditional eaves where a curtain fasten on ringlets, here the tulle clings to plastic hooks. Easy movement of a hand - and a tulle freely goes.
We have moved gas more close to a window, and in the released corner the refrigerator just has held. Still there was a place for a small locker. I am very happy with new kitchen. I consider as the main counter in our kitchen interior wall-paper.
It is a pity only, that the washing machine was not located, so it would be absolutely ideal. Still it would be desirable the soft corner, some manage to place it even in such small kitchen. In due course it will be necessary to think over such idea …
